Make Disciples

  • Evangelism
  • An intentional decision to be “Jesus” to someone who does not have a relationship with Jesus and aid in explaining the love of Jesus to that person.
  • Evidenced when the Spirit of God causes people to desire what is evident in the believer, which is a relationship with Jesus.
  • Must progress to discipleship
  • Discipleship
  • An intentional pursuit to be intimately engaged with God.
  • Meant to develop a student’s personal responsibility to grow in Christ by having a more mature Christians invested in the spiritual growth and development of the student.
  • Ideally, the parents should be the primary spiritual developer.
  • Teaches dependence upon one’s self to be educated and grow spiritually, rather than on pastor’s and teachers to do all of the spiritual guiding.
  • Essential in authenticating the priesthood of the believer

Fellowship

  • The spirit of Jesus within a believer communicating with the spirit of Jesus within another believer.
  • This is not socialization and can only happen between believers.

Ministry

  • Work in the Kingdom mean to aid in the glorification of God through acts of service, compassion, and encouragement to believers and non-believers.

Missions

  • The open mindset of being “On-Mission” and always willing to share the Gospel and be above reproach.
  • Work done for the kingdom of God often seen as service to people in need with the hope that they will realize the love God has for them.
