Personal Philosophy of Ministry

Personal Philosophy of Ministry

  • The ministry is to focused God, the Bible, and people involved in the ministry.
  • My basic emphasis is worship; both personal and corporate.
  • Ministry is not the solitary duty of the vocational minister. It is to be shared among students, parents, and adult volunteers. It is my job to equip all those to do the work of the ministry.
  • Planning is essential. Therefore, setting a vision/goal will always be part of my agenda.
  • Without compromising the integrity of the Gospel, I will strive to offer an environment that is culturally relevant and welcoming for all types of students.
  • Student ministry is not a ministry in and of itself. It is intended to work in cooperation with all other ministries of the church in order to fulfill every part of the Body of Christ.
  • I am to be a devoted Christian, husband, father, and minister (in that order).
